Here it is folks, the last part of the Blood & Steel story. Hope you have enjoyed it thus far.
Here is the next installment of the Steel Guard fan fiction. Hope folks are enjoying it. Only one more segment left after this somewhat short one, but that one is quite lengthy and will wrap up this squad’s story (for now).
For those of you reading my recent fan fiction piece in the Dust universe Blood & Steel, here is a Reinforcement based on that mysterious aircraft seen in the beginning of the story. It is the Horten HO-347 X “Mitternacht” – a prototype and highly classified Blutkreuz variant of the Axis Fledermaus.
For players looking to feature this in their games, you can just use a standard Horten sans all other weapons and just keep track of how many times you use the Serumzerstäuber. If anyone happens to make some conversions or anything, feel free to post pictures on our Facebook or forums. Continue reading
Here is the second part of my four part Steel Guard story. Hope everyone somewhat enjoyed that first tidbit. Check back week for the next installment. Again, sorry for any historical errors or anything. Just having fun with the Dust Universe!
One of the first things that drew me to Dust was the scenarios presented in the Tactics campaign boxes. It added a side to the game rarely seen but one that I know a lot of people enjoy – the story. I am a pretty competitive player, not because I want to win so much but because I want to play the game correctly and fairly. When my gaming group broke out the rules and maps for the Hades campaign we ran into a lot of different interpretations and limitations that we had to come to a consensus with. Which brings about this article, I hope that our mistakes will lead to an enjoyable experience for your group when you try the Hades campaign.
A wise man once said:
“The MIL-47 Attack Helicopter is a triumph of the people engineering teams to produce a war machine the likes of which the world has never seen, and demands rigorous training, producing pilots that serve with an Iron Will and a Tigers cunning. Would you command them with anything less?”
And indeed, here we look at the roles most suited to these whirling masters of death.
This week, I bring to you a trio of Reinforcements to bring variety to your game. Two new infantry units and an Axis Walker, all of which are entirely able to be fielded with relative ease. For the former, you just combine existing models – you will see, below – and the latter comes courtesy of Bitz Garage!
For those of you looking to make your own infantry units, you should start with Dakkon’s Infantry Creator article posted a while back. That is where I started and just tweaked the costs a bit as needed.
As usual, it is my hopes to bring you some fun print and play units to spice up your casual games.
How about we take a look?
